Values

Transparency

Sam believes that transparency should be at the heart of anything involving politics. Without transparency, integrity can be called into question, a lack of which destroys and weakens our amazing democracy.

Sam has made a commitment to advertise all meetings where he is representing his residents on this website.

Freedom

As a pure liberal Sam believes in complete personal freedom, so long as none of the individuals action effects another's freedom.

Regardless of opinion, he will always protect the people's right to free speech, and where possible, allow individuals to live their lives as freely as possible.

Kindness

Kindness is what makes us great.

Without kindness there would be no society. Sharing and caring for each other is the bedrock of the human experience.

Sam is led by this value in all the decisions he makes, both personally and professionally.

As a Liberal Democrat candidate Sam also follows the values set out in the parties constitution found here: https://www.libdems.org.uk/constitution
